Typography, for short, is the art of arranging type in order to re-create the written language. We all know about Times New Roman, Arial and Helvetica, bold and italic, but how much do we know about the history of our printed letters? Maybe the next video will shed some light on the matter.
In the past week Google made a small change to their logo. Can you spot the difference?
This small change to its kerning is due to the fact that the last letters of the logo didn’t quite lineup properly.
This got me thinking about a video I found just a couple of days ago, named: The history of Typography. It’s one of those nice paper-letter animation by Ben Barrett-Forrest.
